Beyonce stars in another musical!

Beyonce Knowles has lined herself up yet another amazing role playing Etta James in the new musical to hit the cinemas.

Cadillac Records is the new musical biopic starring Beyonce Knowles, Gabrielle Union, Mos Def, Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright and many more.

Directed and written by Darnell Martin, this movie is based on a true-story and explores the musical era from the ealy 1940s to the late 1960s.

The movie tells the story of how a small music record label, Chess Records, eventually gave birth to Rock 'n' Roll in 1955 with Chuck Berry (Mos Def).

In order to do that the record label began recording blues music with Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright), the leading role of record producer being played by Adrien Brody.



I'm yet to actually enjoy a musical in the cinema with those spontaneous out bursts of song! I simply can not handle it!

But, this movie has high expectations and apparently shows spectacular performances by all the cast!

So, well done Darnell and personally I can't wait to see Beyonce do her thing!

No babies for Beyonce

Beyonce finally opened up about her married life this week in an interview on the Ellen Degeneres Show. 

The R&B superstar let loose about her marriage to Jay-Z, but if you're expecting to see little Bees and Jay-Zs running around, then you can think again. Beyonce insists that she has been traumatised against having children.

'Ugly Betty' star the new wonder women?

America Ferrera wants to be the next Wonder Woman.

The actress who plays hapless secretary Betty Suarez in the hit US TV show - thinks she is the perfect choice to don a spandex catsuit and play the superhero in the new comic book adaptation.

She is quoted as saying: "I really want to do an action film. Maybe be a super hero - like Wonder Woman. I would love that. They all look so exciting - those action films like 'Batman' and 'Iron Man' and all those exciting roles. I would love to do that. But I don't know if that is going to happen."

Other stars who have expressed an interest in the role originally made famous by Lynda Carter include Gisele Bundchen, Jessica Biel and Beyonce Knowles, who recently said she wanted to be the first black incarnation of the role.

Beyonce explained: "I want to do that type of movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman? It would be great. And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It's time for that, right?

Well whoever it turns out to play the part, the film will be much better than Halle Berry's pathetic attempt at Catwomen.

Beyonce tops rich list!

Beyonce Knowles has beaten off other young high-earners including Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus to be named as the richest star under 30. 



Jay-Z's missus, 27, topped the list of wealthy young celebrities compiled by Forbes magazine, with an estimated £55 million in the bank! 



Pop superstar Justin Timberlake, 27, came second with earnings of £30 million, followed closely by U.S. basketball player Kobe Bryant with £26.8 million.


Miley comes in at No.9 with a respectable £17.2 million in her piggy bank.

Ahh, to be young, rich and famous? What a hard life!
