Leona's a record breaker

Leona Lewis is set to top the charts again this weekend with her cover of Snow Patrol's 'Run'.

The song has already become the biggest-selling download-only single ever, after selling 100,000 copies.

US vs UK: Grammy Showdown!

It will be Britain against the America for record of the year at the US Grammy Awards.

Coldplay, who earned a total of seven nominations, will compete with fellow Britons Adele, Leona Lewis, Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant and MIA for the major honour at the awards show next year.

Coldplay were only outdone by the US's most ubiquitous and successful rap artist, Lil Wayne, who won a leading eight nominations.

Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West were other top Grammy nominees – each with six nods.

Pop-rock trio the Jonas Brothers led the list of best new artist nominees, along with British soul singers Adele and Duffy.

So let the battle commence!

The 51st Grammy Awards live from Los Angeles's Staples Center will take place in February, next year.
