Mariah Carey hits Broadway

It is rumoured that Mariah Carey's life story will be turned into a Broadway musical. Apparently, Mariah, 39, attracted the attention of a huge Broadway producer and he wants the entire show to be based on her life events.

The musical is set to include her life events, the good and the bad. Her divorce with 'Sony' boss Tommy Mottola in 1997 and her physical and emotional breakdown. Not to mention her arguments with record producers and her 'subtle' diva-rish ways!

Mariah's first movie attempt was with 'Glitter' in 2001, a movie similar to her life instead of based on. The movie was so bad it had the potential to ruin her career. It didn't just have a bad storyline but terrible acting too, Mariah being one of them!


Lets just hope the musical is far better than the movie, otherwise, I feel sorry for her already!

Fire the Cannons!

It was her second trip down the aisle, but Mariah Carey made hubby Nick Cannon wait till after they tied the knot to, um, consummate their love.

Don't get the wrong idea though, according to Mariah there was plenty of romance before the wedding.

"It's not that we had no intimacy, we just didn't have complete intimacy," she told the Daily Mirror.


The singer met the 28-year-old rapper, the son of a televangelist in February. The pair had a whirlwind romance for two months before getting married in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas.

She says hanging on until after they were Mr. and Mrs. was worth the wait.

"I definitely don't want to push it on anybody else," the 38-year-old songstress said.

"But we both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married (erm … ok).
