De Niro's film threat to kids!

Robert De Niro used to threaten make his 13-year-old twins watch his infamous thriller 'Cape Fear' if they were naughty.

The 65-year-old actor - who is father to twins Aaron and Julian and 10-year-old son Elliott with wife Grace Hightower - admits he often used the 1991 thriller, in which he played a convicted rapist, as a bargaining tool.

He said: "I want to do stuff that my children can see, but they will have to wait until they are older until they see the rest. They probably have seen stuff that they will never tell me!

"I used to threaten the twins that I am going to show them 'Cape Fear' if they misbehaved."

Robert - who played former CIA agent Jack Byrnes in Ben Stiller's comedies 'Meet the Parents' and 'Meet the Fockers ' - also revealed he hasn't ruled out starring in a third film in the movie franchise.

He added: "I have always liked humour and irony and they were fun to do. And I liked that there was less of a responsibility in holding the whole thing together, not being in every scene.

We might do another 'Meet the Parents' film, I'm not sure."

I think De Niro has done the right thing, you have to keep your children in check otherwise they turn out to the Lohan's and Hilton's of the world (Please no more,....we have enough already!)

To the children...come on, you have a film legend as your father..Be greatful!

But on the bright side another Meet the Parents would be fantstastic! I cannot wait!

TomKat star in New York Times Magazine

Tom Cruise and his ever-so-perfect wife Katie Holmes feature on stylish black and white covers of the next issue of New York Times Magazine.

"I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her. After our first date, I was sure.

At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her and I changed the subject. I wanted to ask her," says Tom.

Interviewed separately, the Hollywood couple talk about family, the paparazzi, acting, and the public's misconceptions of their marriage.

The in-depth interviews are sure to show an emotional side of Tom Cruise and the evolution of shy girl Katie Holmes.

“There’s a misperception about me that I just became this wallflower, this woman who doesn’t have any control of her life..and that’s pretty wrong.

From the very beginning, I’ve made choices in my life that have been very strong,” says Katie.

Im sure life in the Cruise household is far more exciting than your average person with daily shopping trips, flying around the world, going to dinner parties with the Beckhams..ahhh what a life!

Beyonce stars in another musical!

Beyonce Knowles has lined herself up yet another amazing role playing Etta James in the new musical to hit the cinemas.

Cadillac Records is the new musical biopic starring Beyonce Knowles, Gabrielle Union, Mos Def, Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright and many more.

Directed and written by Darnell Martin, this movie is based on a true-story and explores the musical era from the ealy 1940s to the late 1960s.

The movie tells the story of how a small music record label, Chess Records, eventually gave birth to Rock 'n' Roll in 1955 with Chuck Berry (Mos Def).

In order to do that the record label began recording blues music with Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright), the leading role of record producer being played by Adrien Brody.



I'm yet to actually enjoy a musical in the cinema with those spontaneous out bursts of song! I simply can not handle it!

But, this movie has high expectations and apparently shows spectacular performances by all the cast!

So, well done Darnell and personally I can't wait to see Beyonce do her thing!

In the interview to promote his Make It Right campaign, the actor talks about how he is helping to build houses for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and how he can't think of a reason not to have more kids.

The Secret Life of what?

Yes, that's right, The Secret ife of Bees is the new all-star movie to hit our screens. Taking some of the most talented actresses and some of the most successful singers, you would think this is a hit that cannot be missed......I'll let you decide that for yourself!

The Secret Life of Bees was a bestselling novel by Sue Monk Kidd in 2002. Now, thanks to Gina Prince-Bythewood, the novel has become a movie.

Starring Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson and Alcia Keys, this movie is definitely a 'girly one'. Set in South California 1964, this tale focuses on a 14-year-old Lily Owen (Dakota Fanning), who is being haunted by her late mother. Lily and her 'maid' (Jennifer Hudson) flee from her abusive father to a safehouse of sisters. Here, she is given the opportunity to be a part of a 'real family'.



The movie shows itself as a warm and fuzzy movie, if that's what you like then go for it, if not, you might want to keep checking those cinema listings! On the other hand, I am going to give it a shot. Gina Prince-Bythewood directed one of my favourite movies 'Love & Basketball', so I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt!

Janet Jackson expecting?

It's now or never!

The mysterious illness that kept Janet Jackson from touring could be pregnancy says infamous celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton.

Jackson and Jermaine Dupri, have previously said that they want to get married and have babies before it's too late.

Well, Janet hit the 42-year mark this year. So, perhaps, ‘tonight’s the night.’

And, at a recent LA bash, Jermaine wouldn't answer a definitive yes or no when asked if his lady had a bun in the oven.

Does this mean that she will finally acknowledge the daughter she’s said to have with 80’s singer James Debarge?

Lets hope Janet's babies don't get too freaked out by their Uncle Michael!
